11:04AM - Writer's Block: Mystery meat

What is the most disgusting food you have ever eaten? What made it so gross?

The most disgusting food I've ever eaten hasn't been disgusting because of taste or texture. The bloated, polluted meat is the only kind I know, down in the dark. Occasionally I rise to the lights and sounds of Above, but the prey never offers a hunt like the kind I crave.

I dream I'm in the sewers, trolling through thick, muddied water in search of Human. Rat will do in desperation, but more often than not I find myself traveling up, nabbing from parking lots and parks. Prowling the dark is a welcome reprieve from the stench of Home.

Part of me knows what I dream of is unwanted. It tiptoes the line between dream and nightmare, pinching elements of both. Despite my eating habits, despite the fact I know I am Monster, there's a certain kind of.....freedom.

Sneaking around, feeling the bite of concrete and metal and the squish of soft flesh beneath what amounts to claws, I am unshackled. The night cannot harm me, nor can the ones I hunt. Guns amount to little more than plastic toys. I remember crunching one between my jaws and letting the bite of gun powder mingle with blood.

Though I don't remember much of the dream, I know I am searching for something. I'm horrified by the things I collect - heads, hair, what I growled out as "spare parts" when questioned by a man I could not see. I recall stealing a body from Above, from a place of tile and harsh lights. A doctor, I think, judging by the coat, though by the time I get It to the sewers, it's covered in grime and gore. He was old, and whatever I am, he did this to me.

I think I end up putting the body (neatly chewed in half) on a shelf by my bed. For safekeeping, because he was "shiny". Though, how a body can be shiny, well....it confused even the dream me.

I remember clawing up to a grocery store marketplace, fleeing from those who hunted me. I laughed, because they could not see me, and I was faster. Stronger. Better.

I slunk along the ground, watching as my mother and my sister stood by their car, loading bags of food into the back seat. Neither of them noticed me, though I moved by my sister close enough to touch.

Though I've never actually consumed it, the most disgusting thing I've eaten wasn't really that gross.

Only the ideas make it so.

Gasp! Imagine my surprise when I check my livejournal to find that this place LIVES! (sort of). I look forward to revitalizing this :)

Honestly, some of my best advances in those years past came about because of this place. I'm glad to see it's been recovered.

This community has been inactive for awhile, while I'd love to see it back up and running, life demands have put this project on the back burner (for nearly 5 years now).

Happy Creating!

She grinned, clutching her shopping bag as she stepped out into the sun, shielding her eyes as the rays of light hit her full force. She was.....on campus? Somehow, it seemed relatively normal, so she moved on. No monsters hopping out to try and kill her, at any rate.
" And if you'll come this way, we'll go hide in here. The old Powerplant has been shielded by radiation, so if anything happens this is the building we should re-format to save us all," a professor quipped to a small gathering of students before hurrying them all inside. She looked over and eyed the building critically. Honestly, it didn't look like it would save much, all crumbling brick and overgrown vines...apparently it was being used as a pseudo-greenhouse, as there were panes of what used to be glass...now broken and shattered. But she shrugged and moved on. What was the harm in their using it for their own paranoia? Then somebody jostled her from behind, and her bag dropped to the ground. Suddenly her hands were full of bags. Had she bought more than one thing?
" Here, I'll get it for you." She went to smile gratefully at the familiar male voice, but winced as sunlight lanced her eyes.
" Thanks a lot," she replied anyway, holding her hand out for the bag, trying to shield her eyes with her other hand. No dice. He just chuckled and she could hear him shifting. "Sorry," she continued, " but the sun..."
" Ah, no problem. Here, I'll walk you to...where are you going?" Where *was* she going? For some reason, the bus stop floated through her mind for a moment, and before she knew it, they were walking. To the theater. 'Eh??' There was the brief pressure of a hand on her waist.
" Hey, there you are!" A girl hurried over to her, waving a clipboard. Did she *know* her?? The guy had vanished, and she pouted a moment.

The alarm clock woke her.
" Nnghmmn..." A pause. She grinned, stretching out on the bed.
" He's back!!!!"

(ok, and for the back story on this....for a while, about once/twice a month, there'd be a guy popping up into my dreams, but for various reasons, I could never see his face....I'd be standing with my back to him, or he'd be in shadow, or what-have-you. Then about two and a half years ago he popped up in a dream as per usual, but said that he couldn't talk to me anymore because I was "too afraid"...never said of what. I hadn't had another dream with him in it since, until last night ;p And, before you guys get any naughty ideas, we just talk :P
...why I thought to update this as a short short story, I'll never know >_>;)

" Yo." A momentary thrill of giddyness and wariness all mixed into one.
" Oh, hi!" The girl glanced up from the bus bench and smiled up at her friend, pushing hair behind her ears and beating back the confusing mix of emotions that always popped up whenever he did. He stood easily, hands in his jeans pockets.

11:06PM - Love Without Binds

"Love Without Binds"

You graced my soul with your smile.
You graced my heart with your presents.
I want to drink in every breath you breathe.
I want to soak in every ounce of movement.
I've been blessed by your love.
I've been blessed by knowing you.
Thank you for embracing my heart, and letting it go too.
I've acked, and been broken,
Those words dont come close to the end of us,
There are no sorry's, nor are there dissappointments,
Only the understanding of the times moving forward,
Without us enterlaced.
Even when the twinge of anger engulfs my thoughts,
Somehow I travel the memory of my mind,
And relive a love,
That flowed over me with no binds.
I live freely and love openly,
All thanks to what you have given me.
I wish you a love to fullfill and embrace your dreams.
I wish you happiness in whatever life brings you.

1:54AM - Radom Insanity

"Haunted Plague"

I am plagued by my anger,
or of what I see exists.
I am consumed by what haunts me,
and haven't learned to set my soul free.
The kiss of death intangles my mind.
I've struggled with the hate,
in hopes of winning the ultimate race,
But at the end,
I'm still here,
Where I was,
Where I went,
Not really getting anywhere.

A chill embraces me,
Which I welcome gladly,
For what plagues me still lingers off in the distance.
Embrace whats there,
Consume whats open...
I want to shut the door,
I want to it to close the world away from me.
Shallow crys of tomorrows fury,
Etches the mind of todays sins.

We live haunted,
Who is we?
We is you.
My mind is raging again,
consumed with its own plague.
I wont let you enter,
I wont let you in.
There's no choice the voices say,
You've already given in.

8:18PM - My New Blog...

Hello all...I've recently started a new blog. It's sort of an unorthodox, edgy take on working in the sex industry in New York City.

Check out Cherry Bomb's Blog: The Queen of Cream

I'd love some comments, feedback, support, whatever...I hope to one day turn it into a book, so I'd love some reader feedback now.
Thanks so much, and keep up the posts.
